Hope you all had a Good Christmas & New Year. After a two week break, I've had time to reflect on the Guild and I've made some changes to shake up the Guild. I've recruited a new Raid Leader to run the second Team, while I will now raid lead the first team. I have tightened up the guild rules. I have also setup the new RBG team which will go live from tonight, still have a few spots up for grabs, which I will fill over the next week. The two raiding teams have different raiding schedules, this has been done to help with no shows, so people from each team can cover spots with alts. This should help keep the teams active.
Hopefully in february the next news post will be about how well we are doing, as we seem to keep taking two steps forward and then taking one back.

Progress is a little slow due to gear problems at the moment. We are not all in full firelands heroic gear like the other guilds, so the 5th boss onwards we are struggling a bit. We tried one last 25man, which unfortuantly was a failure, this had a knock on affect with a few leavers, so this hampered our raiding for a week. I'm hoping to get the RBG team's up and running again, taking some time as a lot of people have gone inactive, bear with me though.
I hope you all have a great Christmas and new year. I'll be giving out Presents in Orgrimmar on Christmas Eve, so come and get your End Effect present! A lot is changing in how the guild is run, hopefully for the better. Also with SW:TOR coming out soon and the general feeling wow is on a downward path with content and the future expansion, we may start a new game and create End Effect there.

The last month has proven to be very up and down time for the guild. So many people have left after getting gear and a rag kill, while others have left when asked to sit out from one raid. The PvP team has been inactive for a few weeks as the officers have had to attend to a few real life situations, moving house etc. This has caused others to leave, which is a shame considering season 10 is coming to a close. As ever the guild will remain and we will keep pushing on to be big and better. We have killed Shannox Heroic with two 10man teams, hopefully the 25man team is able to take off again, had a influx of members, hopefully this new batch are not just looking to be boosted. This time next month we should be into 4.3 and making our way to deathwing and season 11, hopefully some inactive members will return to full activity so we can quickly progress and do well. See you all next month for 4.3! Also i'll be a year older... 29... oh dear...
Update
We have stopped all 25man raiding and are now just a 10man guild with two teams.

Welcome to October, with Halloween fast upon us and the pending release of 4.3 we have little time to get ready! Firelands is now on full farm, with two 10man groups clearing it nice and quick. We will start to do heroics over the next month and chuck in two 25man raids for good measure. This should help us all have enough gear to quickly progress in T13. We have had a PvP guild merge in which has bolstered the ranks, thus having alot more games and getting people up to 1300 rating in a night, as always you can't win them all and we've had some losses mixed in. Fair to say we can put this down to the new players coming in and not familiar with voices and so on. So overall in the last two weeks we have taken a big step in having a active and progressive PvE team and now the same can be said with the PvP team. I will still be looking to recruit for both teams to keep the activity going. For the PvE team need a few more so we can do 1x25man team and 1x10man team. For the PvP team just need a few more classes probably to improve setups and have two fully active teams and maybe push for a 3rd.
All in all a good month. Let's enjoy the last month or so of T12 and see if we can push to get 4 or more heroics down in FL and some more T11 Heroics! Good luck to the PvP, hopefully they can push into the 1800+ bracket.

It's that time again! Monthly guild update. We have made some progress in Firelands the last few weeks getting 5 down and Majordomo aka Mojo Domo down to 4% best try! We also did a T11 heroic, downing Halfus. However, all this was in 10man mode. We have been going through trials thick and fast, sometimes I feel like it's transfer deadline day during the football season! We are slowly getting members in that are on the same skill level as us and are looking forward to getting back into 25mans. So thanks to all those who trialled, for those that didn't make it, good luck in your next guild and well done to those who passed!
In other areas of the guild we are building up a great core of people, who when online are helping each other out, which is great to see. The PvP team has been revamped, we now have 3 officers running the RBG team. We do still have a lot of PvE guys that help out, still we have been able to get a 1450 rating in two weeks, so we are looking to get a fully dedicated RBG team going and have another team going for the more casual players.
So hopefully this time next month we have taken a further step into securing a great guild with lots to do and be ready with a stable team for the next patch, roll on Deathwing, we coming to get you!!

Well Well, how times have changed, for years we have been just a 10man guild, with the odd 25man raid with members permitting or getting pugs to help for a change of experience. Yesterday the confirmation of members from Nurofen Plus merging into the guild has strengthened the team immensely. Nurofen Plus have been around for many years like us and found themselves struggling of late to continue raiding, hopefully this merge will prospur for both set of players and transform us into a good 25man guild. So i would like to welcome you all to End Effect.
Now with the PvE team looking strong, we can now dedicate some time to pursuing an active and decent PvP team, we currently have a nice bunch of players, but we are looking for leaders! Hopefully over the coming weeks we can find these leaders and some extra members and have some fun in battle grounds!
So overall the future of the guild looks bright. Thanks to everybody's hard work over the past month and giving the guild the chance to get back on it's feet.

For all the new guys and to whom maybe applying to join the guild, here is a quick update as to what's been happening and what's to come.
We have been steadily recruiting over the past two weeks, unfortunately we haven't been able to get in as many members as we would like to make a start on 25mans, but we are more or less ready to start 10mans again. Woohoo I hear you say! However, we could do with an additional tank and another caster/melee dps as we a little light in these areas, come Wednesday we should be doing our first guild raid since January, this will be doing T11 content. A few reasons for this, the guild achievement, some people could do with gear still before we step into firelands, and as we have a lot of new players it's nice to just go and raid without any pressure, and have a good time as well as seeing what people can do. We might try a couple of heroics here and there. but depends on the setup and gear of people.
The PvP team is now up and running, although we only have a handful of PvP only players, quite a number of PvE players are keen to join in. I would like to welcome Easypwn into the Officer role for the PvP team, we are still looking for another 2 people to help him run this team and keep it active.

It has been 6 months since End Effect took a leave of absence from the game, due to real life commitments and many core players quitting for what seems forever, the guild went silently into the night. As such I have cleaned up the site and removed old news, redundant posts in the forum and added some new features. I have returned and I have a new found hunger for the game, which I hope to push the guild onto new heights. After a complete clear out, I'm recruiting again from scratch. A few old members are coming back to help, but I’m on the look out for some helpful members to become part of my officer team. I'm also hoping to recruit a decent PvP team and have a very active guild again. Time will tell, but I'm hopeful I can succeed again.

We are a guild that was formed at the start of The Burning Crusade, we where formally known as CrueL during this expansion, in this content we was mainly a 10man guild with two active teams and when we had the members on we did manage to make some 25man raids. On the release of Wrath of the Lich King, we continued to raid under CrueL for a brief period untill we renamed ourselves to Tenacious, this was only for a short while as we had a spell of inactivity and felt a new name was needed again, End Effect was born, which has become a unique guild name in Europe currently.
The core of the team was made up of 6 real life mates from the UK. Though the team has become mainly a uk team, we have picked up players from across europe who have added to the core and becoming good friends in the process, this was shown by 3 members flying over to the UK for Lykan's Birthday Party!
The guild in it's time has not been able to maintain a foothold amongst the top guilds on the realm, due to real life commitments and the usual guild hoppers you find in the game. We are a dedicated progressive Raiding Guild, that likes to have a laugh on vent and not take raiding to serious as this is a game after all.
We have just returned from a 6 month break and are looking for new players to freshen the team and build for the future.
